Comments
Comments: Carriage, Ridge, Gorge Brook, Hurricane

Trace snow starts at jct of Carriage and Hurricane, no more than an inch or so up until South Peak. Bottom of Carriage has a lot of standing water/mud/wet leaves. Didn't need microspikes until South Peak. Ridge and final approach to summit maybe two inches in places w/ a few drifts and a bit of ice. Summit trace only, some ice. Gorge Brook icy w/ inch or so of powder until 3500' -- then mostly half frozen mud and trace snow to contend with. Hurricane a bit wet, only trace of snow, in good shape overall. For now, you could probably get away without traction, but would recommend microspikes for the descent on icy rocks; with a little more snow things would get tricky above treeline & require snowshoes.
