I was able to drive all the way up to the trailhead in my FWD car. There are some bumps, but I had no issues. |

It was a beautiful day on Waumbek and Starr King. There is a few inches of snow up there, but it has been packed down by boots. There was no need for snowshoes today. Microspikes were more than enough. At lower elevations, there is some ice and running water. |
