Comments
Comments: New section of trial from 116 an excellent walk in the woods..Once past Bald Knob this lightly used trail has some pretty slick moss covered rocks..A few wet and muddy spots..we made the ridge under partly cloudy skies and caught some sun at South kinsman where we had lunch.. Franconia Ridge in and out of the clouds..Foliage in the valley looking pretty nice..A few of us ducked over to bald Knob on the descent and were greeted with wind whipped drizzle from this great though exposed outlook.. Also made the side trip to the kinsman Flume..trail to it a bit knarley in spots and the overlook itself kind of scarey for some but a very impressive sight well worth the sidetrip..Good day out in the woods with OTHH..
