Comments
Comments: Nice to walk on snow again. Just yesterday I was hiking Cabot and Waunbek in trail runners and a t-shirt, today was a taste of winter. An inch or so of fresh snow from the TH increasing to about 5 inches along KRT. I barebooted up MKT just fine then tossed on spikes on the ridge. Upon return much of the snow from the junction of Bald Peak Spur was melted, the mud was slick from there to the larger water crossing.

Many hikers out today and some good trail conversations.
