Trails: Pine Mountain Trail, Ledge Trail, Pine Mountain Loop
Date of Hike
Date of Hike: Saturday, November 13, 2021
Parking/Access Road Notes
Parking/Access Road Notes: No issues parking at the lot across from Pine Mountain Trail. We accessed the road from Rt 16 via Pinkham B Road (Dolly Copp area). Only one car in the lot when we arrived and 4 on our return. Pinkham B Road has some sizable potholes, so use caution in a lower clearance vehicle. We had a sedan that only bottomed out once going downhill over a pothole.

Comments
Comments: We did the loop walking the dirt road via Pine Mountain Trail and up the Ledge Trail first. Recommend this way on the ascent because of the ledges. The ledges had a few wet spots, but nothing major. Some standing water/mud and a little running water in spots along the loop. We did make the trip over to Chapel Rock as well. Coming down from the summit towards Chapel Rock had some running water on the trail. Didn’t see anyone else out on the trail all day.
