Trail clear and easy to follow, we were surprised how the nailed on blazes are amazingly bright reflectors!
Good night hike but wish it was less cloudy high above, we coule barely see the outline of the Moon. Usual areas were wet and rock hop-able and mostly dry grippy rock. We found a couple of places were there was ice, must have been in the shade but easily avoidable and it was more of a novelty.
Above treeline we followed the blazes painted on the ledge right to the summit. It was windy and cold so we put on warmer clothes and our shells. We enjoyed the view of all the lights of the cities, wind turbines and cars for very far. A different kind of 52 with a View vista. When we left the summit we were careful to find the right trail down and to stay on the trail. Love the painted D's for Dublin Trail!
When we were about 2/3 down a bright light was coming fast towards us and it was a man trail running up the mountain! Night hiking is a thing.
