Comments
Comments: Beautiful evening hike of Cannon Mountain there is 1 birch blowdown/stump partially in the trail hopefully will slow the erosion a bit. ran into spotty ice sections at just below 3000 feet. The slabs were glazing over in spots becoming very slick. i ended up putting rock spikes on until passing by the slab area. bareboots to the summit with just a few icy spots including on the last part of the hike after the now semi frozen muddy sections. The moon was shining brightly in and out of the clouds with gusty winds.
