Plenty of nicely maintained steps. In fact, one USFS volunteer was working on it. |

Started at 11am and was surprised not to find any black ice as in earlier reports. Brought MICROspikes but did not have to use them. Trail was quite muddy in the segment before the lookout spot (at the ski slope) and was drier after. |
