 | Trail Maintenance Notes: |
Around 6 birch trees are across the Davis Path roughly in the area between the Mt Parker Trail and the Giant Stairs Spur Path. All are easy step-overs, but one is a little tricky in that you have to stand on moderately steep loose gravel while negotiating the step-over. I removed the pieces of one birch that broke into manageable pieces. The others will require a saw. |

 | Comments: |
An easy hike, but beware of the small patches of black ice on the rocks. Great views to the north from Mt Resolution. The entire ridge from Mt Jackson to Mt Washington was below the high thin clouds. The summit cone of Washington and the very tops of Monroe and Eisenhower had a thin coating of snow. Beautiful. |
