Trail Maintenance Notes
Trail Maintenance Notes: KRT was clear of obstructions. The heavily erroded section seems to just keep getting worse. There are a few very large boulders that look like they are getting ready to roll. I wouldn't want to be heading up this section in heavy rain.
Dog-Related Notes
Dog-Related Notes: Saw a very friendly pup.

Comments
Comments: Glad (relieved) to get Cannon x 12 today.

Starting from where the trail climbs the first short slab all the typically wet spots were black ice. Ice sections were short but frequent. After the lookout there is no evidence of snow and most of the mud was frozen, which was nice. Heading back down I did not use spikes but stayed low and slow.

Maybe a dozen other hikers out this afternoon.
