Water Crossing Notes
Water Crossing Notes: Could rock hop the two crossings closest to Owls Head on the Lincoln Brook trail the afternoon of November 6th. The morning of November 7th this was no longer possible due to black ice on some of the rocks required for the crossing. Put on my waterproof socks, rolled up the pants, and waded through in the trail runners. Was able to cross without getting much more than ankle deep.

Dog-Related Notes
Dog-Related Notes: Saw two dogs they seemed to be enjoying themselves. I did not see any dogs actually climbing the rock slide up Owls Head itself. Would be a tough climb for any four legged friend but some are capable.

Comments
Comments: Trail was pretty wet/muddy overall. More mud than ice but sporadic black ice. Was increasing amounts of ice moving up the slide to a light dusting of snow over the top of no real accumulation.
