| Parking/Access Road Notes: |
A few cars present on arrival, three (two of them ours) on return. Be mindful of a few bumps on the part of Starr King Rd above the residences; drive around them carefully. But I had no problem with my car, with just 5" of road clearance. |

| Trail Maintenance Notes: |
Trail is in good shape. Regarding that treetop standing on end just below the top of Starr King, mentioned last Thursday by WAUMBEK, I was able to swing the butt end off the trail, turning the thing into an easy walk-under, perhaps even with snowpack on the trail. |

| Comments: |
Nice day, unusually mild for November, for doing this hike. It didn't take long for layers to come off, until I was down to just a long-sleeved jersey and the long pants, even up between peaks. There was some mud on the trail between peaks, but up there it was mainly frozen, walk-over. A bit before the top of Starr King, I did spot a small bit of snow in the shadows, but I almost missed it. The microspikes stayed in the pack. |
