 | Water Crossing Notes: |
Water crossings were okay, we were able to get across all but needed to take some time to negotiate to find the best way across on a few. We did not have poles though, which would have made it easy for all crossings. I ended up finding large sticks to use to help across a few. |

**The first report I submitted was the incorrect date, this is the corrected one with the correct date of 6 Nov**
Absolutely gorgeous day, no wind and plenty of sunshine! Crossed paths with maybe 15 total on our ascent and across to West Bond, and then about 20 on our way back and then out. All water crossings were really not bad, we did not have poles so made some of them tricky, but all doable. Some mud and leaves on LW Trail and Bondcliff Trail, and a bit of ice, up until out of tree line, all avoidable. Across to Bondcliff and Bond there was trace snow (nothing hiding the rocks) and ice, all easy to get across and around, no need to put on the spikes. From Bond to West Bond there was more snow but still no need to put on the spikes. Awesome day up there!!! |
