 | Water Crossing Notes: |
Bypassed first water crossing by walking along road. The rocks were too icy to step on. Second and third crossings were ok. |

 | Trail Maintenance Notes: |
Might be just me but the top of Piper near the summit is poorly blazed and fee cairns. Kind of hard to follow. |

 | Comments: |
No snow yet but quite icy in parts. Could have work spikes but was lazy and spent time maneuvering around the ice. Lots of other parts of the trails were wet. Imagine will freeze up soon. Wouldn't recommend summiting without spikes in tow. Middle Sister also icy. Cool summit with remnants of what looks to be old fire tower. Much less crowded than Chocorua and great view. |
