| Comments: |
Headed first to Eisenhower, then worked my way back south. A lot of ice, frozen mud, frozen leaves and slop on the trails, interspersed with dry sections. I put my old beater spikes on descending Eisenhower and kept them on till the split of the 2 branches of the Webster Jackson Trail. The upper section of the Webster Jackson Trail is a frozen river. Surprisingly, none of the big bridges between Pierce and Jackson were icy, just snow covered. Good day to get these peaks. |
