Comments
Comments: Today turned out to be a fantastic day. Sunny, blue skies, and no wind. Dead calm on the summit platform. There was about 1" of snow the whole way up to the summit. Some bare areas on the lower access road. Ice was there, so one has to pick their way around it. I bare booted to the summit with no problem, and wore my spikes down for safer footing. A solar panel had blown off the summit platform, so when I was going down, there was a worker from the ski area at the unload station. I told him about it and he said that it belonged to the forest service for their weather monitoring. He said he would notify them. I followed two sets of Coyote tracks the whole way up. I finished at 11:00, and didn't see any other hikers on the trail.
