Step over blow downs here and there (cleared a few), but none required walking around. The cairn described in the WMG as marking the right turn in the gully on Old Paugus Trail appears to be gone, but the turn is quite obvious. |

Beautiful day, but trails were still very wet from recent rainstorm. Great views from many places, in addition to the ledges, with most of the leaves gone. Big Rock Cave is very impressive. |
