 | Water Crossing Notes: |
Mill Brook Trail doesn't actually cross Cold Brook (which was racing), but there were several drainages flowing off Deer Mtn. that cross the trail. All of these were easily hopped. |

 | Trail Maintenance Notes: |
Pretty much the same as my 8/27/2021 report. Noted fresh blazes on Kilkenny Ridge Trail since my last visit. Thank you! |

After a rain delay of about a half hour this morning, the skies cleared out for a beautiful day on Rogers Ledge.
The lower half of MBT was saturated this morning but was drying quickly due to the brisk wind. Lots of mud and puddles here. Once the trail left the brook it was mainly damp, as was KRT. A few slippery spots on the steep climb up to the ledge. The ledge itself was dry.
I didn't stick around on top too long as it was quite windy and chilly. No other humans sighted. |
