Comments
Comments: Trails were wet with very small ice patches in shaded areas at higher elevations. No need for traction. Small patch of hardened snow on Eisenhower Loop on east side of summit dome. Exposed ledges were dry. Able to pass through mud and water areas on the tops of rocks.
Helicopter making runs in and out of Mizpah Hut. About a half dozen AMC workers involved in the airlifts. The hut is closed for the season.
Great views today from Vermont to Maine and everything in between. Notably, Mt Washington, Mt Jefferson, Mt Clay, and Mt Monroe were all visible from summit of Mt Eisenhower (no clouds).
Met hikers from ME, NH, and MA today.
