Comments
Comments: The recent storm made the Ammonoosuc Ravine Trail quite wet and muddy, particularly below the alpine zone signs. Above those, it was still wet, but not as much. On the Crawford Path, there were still some patches of snow that surprisingly hadn't melted, but they weren't anything I needed light traction for. If the temps drop below freezing tonight though, the Ammonoosuc Ravine Trail could ice over and become hazardous, so plan accordingly if heading up here in the next couple days.

Since the nor'easter was still making its way out of the area, it was chilly, cloudy and windy with periods of drizzle for about 3/4 of the hike. The clouds did eventually clear on the hike down, after I went back below treeline. You win some, you lose some, I guess.

Didn't see anyone else the entire hike. Even the summit was deserted. All the buildings were boarded up and closed down, which made it even more eerie-feeling. Only the second time I've ever hiked a 4,000 footer in NH and didn't see anyone else.
