Parking/Access Road Notes
Parking/Access Road Notes: There’s a lot for close to a dozen cars on the right side of the toad a short ways before the actual trailhead. Most of us parked there. When that’s full, you can park just before this on the side of the road as there’s some room. Some people also parked roadside right next to the trailhead. The road in is mostly dirt but is very driveable by any car.

Trail Maintenance Notes
Trail Maintenance Notes: The Cross Rivendell Trail is blazed in blue and easy to follow. Mt. Cube Trail is blazed in white as it coincides with the AT and is easy to follow. The North Cube Side Trail was also easy to follow though I do not recall if it was blazed. No blowdowns that I recall now. I believe there were some places that could be raked to help with water drainage hut nothing major.

Dog-Related Notes: Not sure if we saw any but this would be a good hike for most dogs.

Comments
Comments: A lovely day spent with hiking friends (and meeting some new ones) in celebration of our dear friend’s redline finish :) Chilly but little wind and beautiful blue, sunny sky. This trail is the easiest way to get to the summit of Cube.

Lots of leaves down on the trail but easy enough to follow. Great views from the summit and occasionally on the way up. Some very wet and muddy spots as to be expected. Some very slick slabby rocks to watch out for especially while descending although easy to avoid. The ledge around the summit is quartz and thus can be slippery even when dry. Nice to revisit this trail :)
