Comments
Comments: The leaves have mostly fallen but still some gold/yellow remaining. Started bushwhack to Deer Mt @1980' through fairly sparse birches and other young trees. Headed east after visiting ranger station & fire tower remains to check out views from ledges @2480'. Well worth the extra trek! Headed southwest then west along some running water to re-join Mill Brook Trail @1900'.
