Boy, me and Shay have been off the 4ks working on the 52wav and the lakes region ranges for almost 2 years, didn't miss the rocks lol. Trail was in good shape, although pretty muddy. Shay took about 2/3rds of the mud into my car, so it might be better now. Some light glazing on the boulder section gaining the summit, but nothing warranting spikes, although I had them on the pack. Really felt great to be back on the high peaks, be back out Friday, maybe IKE, miss that SOB. |
