Small parking lot, we were the only ones there at 8:30 AM or so but it was full when we returned. |

Trail looks great, we appreciate the recent maintenance. |

Leaves were significant but not slippery.
We loved the views right at the start of the hike through the open field.
Be sure to follow the cairns beyond the summit towards the south cliffs for amazing views. Mount Washington can be seen towards the right, and we believe we spotted Kearsarge North with the outlook tower to the left.
We did not hike to the iron mines. |
