Trail Maintenance Notes: The trail above 2200' after first view ledge has many significant mud holes in need of new or replacement Bog bridges.
Dog-Related Notes
Dog-Related Notes: Trail doesn't have very many places to water your dog. Might consider carrying extra water for your pooch. I met enjoyed meeting Mellissa and Kathy with a big lovable hound named Sherman.

Comments
Comments: This was Sunday in last sunny day in late foliage season. I saw lots of families with young kids on the trail today. Young kids probably lack maturity to rock hop to avoid wet feet in many mudholes on upper trail. The next 2-3 days of rain and windy weather will probably knock most of remaining leaves off.
