Trail Maintenance Notes: Trail in good shape except for the mud.Some one even raked all the leaves out on the first half mile!

Dog-Related Notes: Our dogs 2nd 4k. He did great except getting head first in the mud.

Comments: Beautiful crisp fall morning around 36 deg to start. Cold and windy on top. Beautiful views of the snow dusted presis from Mt Surprise and summit.
Some gnarly muddy sections that the dog fell in. Low cut hiking shoes got pretty wet.
