About 2 dozen cars in parking lot and along entrance down to Rt 49 on arrival at 10:15. slightly fewer at 3:30 end. Got a space in lot as an early hiker left just on our arrival. |

Coop had a wonderful day meeting so many happy friendly pups on the trail. Great husky, beautiful boarder collie, wonderful Aussie showing off her tricks at the summit, and one nice golden mix on Jennings. Descending on Drakes Brook offered lots of water for Coop (he prefers the streams over his water bowl) |

Trails in wonderful shape. Mostly just lots of wet leaves, Needed to take care on the descent. Muddy sections were few and far between. Bog bridges help, but some may need replacement soon. Mostly trails were easy to follow and lot of fun. Clouds moved out just as we approached the summit of Sandwich reveling great views!! also great views from Jennings. Late start paid off this time. |
