| Parking/Access Road Notes: |
At the moment, the shoulder is firm, but it drops off fast. Beware as you pull to the side. |
|
| Surface Conditions: |
Dry Trail, Wet/Slippery Rock, Mud - Minor/Avoidable, Mud - Significant, Leaves - Significant/Slippery |
|
| Recommended Equipment: |

|
| Water Crossing Notes: |
There are a couple which will slow you down, and you should think about them. The leaves are bunching up, and making it hard to see what's a legitimate stepping stone, v what will only get your feet wet. The rest are one hop wonders, or close enough to it. |
|
| Trail Maintenance Notes: |
Trail was in fine shape. An easy step-over or two, but nothing more than that. The bushwhack could use some love, but then again, it's a bushwhack. |

| Comments: |
It was a stellar October day for a hike. Sun was warm, breeze was cool. Trail was fine. What more could you ask? OK, there was a bushwhack which wasn't particularly hard, but hey, it was "off trail" for varying definitions of same.
Photos and a more detailed write-up are on my blog, as always. |
