Dog-Related Notes: Saw one, small-to-medium size, with a pair of hikers, headed up by side of the Tuck headwall, being lifted up over some bigger boulders, mid-afternoon. I hope they kept the earlier sunset in mind or had headlamps, if they were going to the top.

Comments
Comments: Exceptional day up there, weather-wise. Temp mid-50s, almost no wind, great visibility - unusual for Washington mid-October. While another of our little group went up via Huntington Ravine, two of us went up via Boott Spur. The link from the ranger station is quite steep for most of it, with a lot of moss and wet rock until mostly out of the trees. The route adds a mile to the trip up Washington, vs straight up Tuck.
