Lost and Found
Lost and Found: Saw a pink knit cap with a fur pompom hanging on a tree someplace. On the final roadwalk back to the Zealand trailhead there was a pair of socks in the road. Someone must have left them on their bumper and they didn't stay there. Picked them up gingerly with our hiking sticks and hung them on a blowdown on the side of the road.

Comments
Comments: Nice pleasant loop, approaching Mt. Hale from a less common direction. Checked out the magnetic rocks with my compass. We spotted a mink on Zealand Road as we approached the trailhead driving there in the morning. Thanks to FSOW for a nice hike.
