Comments
Comments: Took Gale River Trail up to the hut, then headed up to South Twin. Lots of leaves down but footing wasn't too bad. A few muddy spots on Gale River Trail, but easy to go around. Hike up to South Twin was steep, but not as horrible as everyone makes it out to be. Water on rock slabs made is somewhat tricky, but again easy to get around. Gorgeous 360 views from South Twin, definitely worth the work getting up there. Hut was fully open but closing next weekend (10/17). Overall, a great hike!
