 | Comments: |
A FINE day above the forest! We had been waiting for the perfect day and perfect it was. Temps in the low 50's, winds light and variable, and several other traversers and JAMers out, all with cheshire cat grins enjoying the day. My streak of never ascedning Valley Way in daylight continues. All trails are in great shape, even the ever gentle Watson. The only comment I'd make was Crawford from Pierce to 302 was in places a muddy wet river, aside from that, excellent. Gridded out Madison and Adams to start the day. Commanding foliage views through the hike, as well as the lunar landscape above treeline where had. LOTC & MSH are closed and the spigots are removed. Get out there while you can! |
