Hiked both Pierce and Eisenhower with a friend today. We stopped in at the Mizpah Hut, which had delicious pastries. Ran into a young lady I saw at the Zealand Hut yesterday on our way to Mizpah, it's a small world!
The Southern Presi's are easily my favorite, and the traverse from Pierce to Eisenhower an Autumn classic. We couldn't have asked for better weather or visibility. Edmands Path is quite wet, so bring appropriate footwear. I'm guessing the mountain naturally drains water down that side? A great day to be out, and nice to have some company. |
