Water Crossing Notes
Water Crossing Notes: No issues.
Trail Maintenance Notes
Trail Maintenance Notes: Indian Head Trail has some significant erosion above the 1.0 mi. mark. A few scattered small blowdowns. Blazes are faded. Noted refreshed blazes on Mt. Pemigewasset Trail. One minor blowdown just before the summit ledges. The end of the trail at the highpoint now has a "turnaround" blaze. There are now several beaten paths in the woods behind the ledges which look like they've been used as camping spots and as a shortcut to the high point. Quite an impact now. :(
Dog-Related Notes
Dog-Related Notes: I met one super chill and very sweet dog on top.

Comments
Comments: Lots of mud and water on these trails after yesterday's rains. The upper section of IHT before the steeps has water running down it. Rocks and roots were quite slippery. The short section of MPT along the ridge has some significant mud and puddles with widening from folks going around to the sides.

Hoping for some sun but ended up with mostly cloudy skies. Foliage color down below is coming along but not quite at peak yet. This weekend should be looking good. Several people out today, utilizing both approaches to the top.
