Parked at Gale River Trail trailhead and did a "lollipop" loop down to 13 Falls, tagging Galehead, and the Garfield Ridges along the way. Gone are the pickle jar and white canister from a few years ago from the Garfield Ridges summits, replaced by black canisters. Tried to go due south to the West summit from Garfield Ridge Trail, but needed to veer east a bit to avoid a jumble of rocks and blowdowns. Excellent day with Trekboots and Daisy. |
