| Parking/Access Road Notes: |
Plenty of space at Waterville Valley. About a dozen vehicles when I arrived, just mine and the trail worker's truck in late afternoon |
| Surface Conditions: |
Dry Trail, Wet Trail, Mud - Minor/Avoidable |
| Recommended Equipment: |
| Water Crossing Notes: |
All rock hoppable, even though this is the most water I've ever seen on this trail |
| Trail Maintenance Notes: |
Trail is in great shape. Some anti-erosion work was in progress in late afternoon, lower down, by a one-person crew. |
| Dog-Related Notes: |
I saw two or three canines. Seems very dog friendly. Plenty of water opportunities in the lower stream crossings. And it's only a 2.5 mile hike, so. . . |
| Bugs: |
None! I love it....but the cost is shorter days. |

| Comments: |
A great day for a hike from the ski area parking lot. I wish I'd thought to take the less used route from Tripoli Rd.(Thornton Gap side) Maybe next time.
Leaves are starting to change. A few have already fallen, but not enough to make the trail slippery |
