Parking/Access Road Notes
Parking/Access Road Notes: Plenty of space at Waterville Valley. About a dozen vehicles when I arrived, just mine and the trail worker's truck in late afternoon
Surface Conditions
Surface Conditions: Dry Trail, Wet Trail, Mud - Minor/Avoidable
Recommended Equipment
Recommended Equipment:
Water Crossing Notes
Water Crossing Notes: All rock hoppable, even though this is the most water I've ever seen on this trail
Trail Maintenance Notes
Trail Maintenance Notes: Trail is in great shape. Some anti-erosion work was in progress in late afternoon, lower down, by a one-person crew.
Dog-Related Notes
Dog-Related Notes: I saw two or three canines. Seems very dog friendly. Plenty of water opportunities in the lower stream crossings. And it's only a 2.5 mile hike, so. . .
Bugs
Bugs: None! I love it....but the cost is shorter days.

Comments
Comments: A great day for a hike from the ski area parking lot. I wish I'd thought to take the less used route from Tripoli Rd.(Thornton Gap side) Maybe next time.
Leaves are starting to change. A few have already fallen, but not enough to make the trail slippery
