No issues. |
|
 | Trail Maintenance Notes: |
The loop trail is well-blazed but not signed. The only confusing spot was where it returns to the outlet brook of the pond on the west side. There's a short stretch that isn't blazed, and a blazed route appears to head off away from the pond. |

A pleasant get-out-of-the-house walk around the pond. The loop trail was mainly dry with just a few tiny muddy areas. Funky painted canoe at the loop junction on the shore of the pond.
On the return trip, from the loop junction, I walked the old logging road back down to the gate and trailhead. Distance is just slightly shorter than the hiking trail which it parallels.
Foliage is still mostly green with a few pockets of color appearing. |
