| Parking/Access Road Notes: |
Parking lot on Nash Stream Road just before the bridge and trailhead. Nash Stream Road is in decent shape to the various Percy trailheads, however there are some protruding rocks thereafter of which low clearance vehicles should be aware. |

| Trail Maintenance Notes: |
Waterbars in need of digging. A couple of stepover blowdowns, as well as a series of blowdowns just before the summit with a herd path around them. There was another blowdown just below that with a herd path that we took care of (cut out the blowdown and brushed in the herd path). |

| Comments: |
Trail was generally dry with some minor mud above the snowmobile corridor. Footing is still generally good, though a little loose below the old firewarden's cabin.
Foliage is starting to turn, though it is still primarily green down low. Nice pre-peak colors visible from the summit.
Nice early afternoon weather with temperatures in the 50s to low 60s and clearing skies. Saw about a dozen total hikers.
Support liberty. |
