|Hiking Trail Conditions Report|
||Mt. Surprise, Mt. Moriah, NH|
|Date of Hike:
||Saturday, September 18, 2021|
|Parking/Access Road Notes:
||Parked at the powerlines around 7am. Maybe five cars there and another four at the end of the road. A few spots avialble when I left at 10:30am. |
||Dry Trail, Wet Trail, Mud - Minor/Avoidable |
|Water Crossing Notes:
|Trail Maintenance Notes:
||This trail is very well maintained. There is a few sections of mud, one fairly deep with heard paths around it. Could use a log bridge in this spot. |
||Saw at least one. |
|Lost and Found:
||Started out around 7am along with one other hiker who was heading over to Waumbek after to finish her second round of the NH48. Despite the number of cars saw only one other hiker on the way up. Maybe ten others on the while on the way back down. |
Mostly clear views over to the Presi's with some undercast in the valley. Leaves are just starting to change. Decent moring weather wise other than being warmer and more humid than normal for this time of year.
#41 for September.
