Comments
Comments: In keeping with the short hike theme after Georgiana, off I went to Peaked Hill Pond. Easy to find trailhead, I drove to the gate then decided to park in the lot a few hundred feet back. Nice easy grade on what looks like a snowmobile trail. Just before the pond about 1.8 miles in there’s a fork (unsigned). Take the right for another tenth of a mile to the pond. There was a canoe and skiff with paddles by the shore, unsecured, so maybe the owners don’t mind if you borrow them for a bit….dunno. Didn’t see a soul all day.
