Skipper was in shape, and did well - but the rocks in the northern Prezzies are rough, and you have to watch out for their pads. Water can be found at Peabody Spring (along Gulfside Tr. between Jefferson and Adams), at Madison Hut (spring runoff), and along Brookside Trail and lower Valley Way. Had to carry water for our dog for the dry above tree line sections. |

There is a young moose living up near Madison Hut. It's been there all summer...and we had a 20 minute show while hanging around at the hut in the late afternoon. |
