| Parking/Access Road Notes: |
Liberty Springs lot about one-third full when I got there at 7:15. Original plan was to do this via Osseo Trail but Lincoln Woods lot was 100% full, with parking a third of the mile up the road, when I got there at 6:45. |

| Trail Maintenance Notes: |
One recent blowdown on Whitehouse Trail about 5 minutes from trailhead. The trunk of a very old tree has broken off about one-tenth of a way up the Liberty Springs Trail. You can walk around it but it will not be easy to move/remove. |

| Comments: |
Except as noted above trails in good shape although showing signs of heavy use (as are most trails, at this point). Only a few minor, short muddy spots between Liberty and Flume. Trails were crowded, as expected, given the Flags event. Big crowds on the summits between 12 and 2. Everyone seemed in good spirits. Saw the Blackhawk helicopter over Lafayette and Lincoln, until it was apparently diverted for a rescue on Caps Ridge. |
