Rattle River Trail was great - once on Kenduskeag, the mud and wet trails were unavoidable. Even dry patches with rock scrambles were slippery due to having muddy, wet boots. Some of the mud “puddles†were thigh deep, as a couple of my friends found out! I lucked out and only went in mid-calf at one point. Absolutely beautiful hike tho, WOW. Kenduskeag has amazing and beautiful ecological areas. The summit and ledge views were fantastic too. |
