Loop does not go around pond, but part of it goes near. There are several herd paths to the edge for a better view. There is a spur that goes over the end of the pond (nice bridge) and out to the railroad track and North-South Road. Most of the trail makes you think of Robert Frost, "The woods are lovely, dark, and deep..." But maybe that's because it was 6:00 and about to rain. |
