Water Crossing Notes
Water Crossing Notes: Small and easy to rock hop
Trail Maintenance Notes
Trail Maintenance Notes: Glen Boulder Trail was in excellent condition up to tree line. Above Glen Boulder, the trail does enter the trees and scrub a few times - some spots were overgrown and in desperate need of trimming.
Dog-Related Notes
Dog-Related Notes: Saw a few awesome and well behaved pups out having a great time today.
Lost and Found
Lost and Found: FOUND: LL Bean jacket just above Glen Boulder. It had multiple patches on it. Turned it into Pinkham Notch Visitors Center. If it’s yours, they are holding it in their lost and found.
Comments: A great day to visit Isolation. Clear skies all day and the windy conditions became almost completely still by the end of the day. Davis Path between Isolation Trail (East) and Isolation Spur was one mud pit after another. If you were careful, you could use what remains of the bridges and fallen down trees to keep your feet less muddy.
