A great weekend in the Pemi. Started at Zealand which was muddy and wet in the usual spots. Zeacliff views were incredible. Great to see new bog bridges on the Twinway beyond Zeacliff. The trek across the Twinway was uneventful. Spent a showery night at Guyot which was close to full but not overflowing. Woke up this morning to thick fog blanketing the peaks. Made for a wet and mostly viewless journey across Bond and Bondcliff. Skies brightened as we made our way down Bondcliff trail and back toward Lincoln Woods. |
