numerous blow downs with a few climb over, around, through, and under...foot bed in great condition however.. |

mosquitos were bothersome early, so black flies a little later; couple of deer flies.. |

Revisit to Diamond Peaks; road walk from the gate was not as long as remembered!! Couple of wicked steep drop offs from the road to the Dead Diamond River below, and also the cliffs of the peaks are almost vertical, and viewpoints are right there so use caution if you don't like heights!! Hazy views again today, but there are some nice views of the Mahoosucs, Lake Umbagogg.. |
