The hurricane kept people home today, but after trolling the forecast all day we determined it was just going to be cloudy. And it was.
This trail is a super option for hitting the Kinsmans, and (in our opinions) by FAR the easiest route to get there. I mean, the first mile and a half to the trail is basically a dirt road. (very runnable trail runners FYI)
It was a bit cloudy at the summits but oh well, still a pleasant enough day, and it's not like we don't know what Franconia notch looks like ;-)
Def have read many complaints about how steep this trail is and, sure, it goes up a mountain.... But Fishin' Jimmy it is NOT!!! |
