There is a just above head level wasp nest hanging as you enter the parking lot. It is active. You need to walk past it going to the trail head. |

Wasp nest (see above). I did also note yellow jackets above half way up the rocky sections. Just after the first small "view". |

The beginning section down low is very nice. Some mud but nothing that will steal your shoe. The Fuchs haven't gone anywhere, still more than enough of them. Trail is in great shape all around. |
