Blazing on Chocorua Ledges needs a fresh coat. A few minor step-overs on upper Champney Falls Trail |
|
| Dog-Related Notes: |
Not the best hike for the average dog. It’d be ok for a seasoned well behaved dog. I definitely keep a dog leashed on the ledges/summit. |

Ugh- deer flies at the summit and they were pesky |

Great hike to these rocky summits. Trail is truly moderate for a seasoned-ish hiker. Headed up to Chocorua first, while we still had some steam. Fairly easy rock scrambles last half mile. This route only has 1 spot, just below summit that may be hard for the faint of heart. Headed over to Middle Sister, a quick-short hike, with equally exceptional views. The air was quite muggy today so stopping by the falls on the way down was very refreshing. Middle Sister and the Falls are worthy extra adventures. |
